Nagaon, July 20: In another good news for the region, the first Nagaon International Short and Documentary Film Festival is all set to woo film lovers and film makers this September.
Yes! You heard it right.
Cinemalay, a creative and training community of film making situated in Nagaon, has come up with this noble initiative. Cinemalay aims to provide a free and flexible environment where ideas can fly without barriers and creativity can flourish.
The first Nagaon International Short and Documentary Film Festival (NISDFF) 2018 is scheduled on September 08 and 09, 2018 and is organised in association with Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva Viswavidyalaya, Nagaon.
It may be mentioned here that this is for the first time an International Film Festival is going to be held in Nagaon.
The organisers have already garnered the support from the localites and many of the popular film personalities of Assam as well as the film buffs and also impressive support from the general public via social medias like Facebook, Twitter and Whatsapp among others, since the day of the announcement.
NISDFF’s goal is to motivate the aspiring students of the region to get into the field of visual media.
The Festival presents a unique opportunity for our local community, tourists and the next generation of talented filmmakers from around the world to experience the true spirit of the creative film-making process.
