Guwahati, March 21: A workshop on ‘Respiratory Inhaler and Nebulization Technique’ was organized at Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Guwahati with more than 65 nurses and technicians from various hospitals and nursing colleges from Guwahati taking part in the worshop.
Dr Abhishek Agarwal, Consultant Pulmonologist and organizer of the program took active part in training and demonstration of various inhaler devices used by patients with respiratory disorders. Dr Kundan Hazarika, Consultant, Critical Care elaborated on nebulization techniques and explained how nurses can contribute to an excellent patient recovery by correct and accurate use of techniques of drug delivery.
Dr Surajeet Kumar Barua, Medical Superintendent of the hospital addressed the gathering and emphasized on nurses’ training needs in latest therapeutic technologies available in healthcare. Pinaki Bayan, Nursing Superintendent of the hospital spoke about the importance of ongoing training for nurses to fulfill the current demands.
The program concluded with distribution of certificates to the participants by Dr Agarwal.
