JBF observes World Environment Day planting saplings

Guwahati, June 06: JBF (India) Trust, commonly known as JBF (Just Be Friendly), which is an animal welfare organisation, observed World Environment Day at JBF Integrated Care and Resource Centre for Animal Welfare (JIRAW), Sonapur by planting 30 saplings.

“We aim to reduce environmental pollution and create a sustainable tomorrow” said a member of JBF.

“‘We need to understand the importance of growing trees. To create harmony in the environment, we must take a quick action now” said Dr Sashanka Sekhar Dutta, Founder of JBF.

JBF not only believes in peaceful co-existence between human and animals but also in developing a co-existence overall, members added.
