Sivasagar entrepreneur receives award from State Minister of Youth and Sports, Bangladesh

Sivasagar, September 22: Making the whole state proud again, entrepreneur from Sivasagar, Assam, and the founder of Gaon Ka Khana Hironmoy Gogoi has won the South Asian Youth Award 2017 (Entrepreneurship) for his work in creating employment and motivating the youth and masses across Assam.

He received the award from Dr Biren Sikder, Minister of Youth and Sports, Government of Bangladesh, in the presence of other VIPs from Bhutan, Maldives, Sri Lanka, India among other nations.

He dedicated the award to his supporters, without whom, he says, it wouldn’t have been possible for him to reach a global platform.

He also offered his gratitude towards Chairman Dr KK Singh for his hospitality, Jayanta Patra his support and all the hard working volunteers of IYC for setting up a new benchmark in the history of India along with the Country Ambassadors of various nations for their remarkable contribution. He also thanked the government officials of the participating countries for their co-operation.

“I was so happy to receive this honour by wearing our Assamese attire and showcasing it in front of everyone. After years and years of hard work finally, I accomplished a splendid goal in my life” he said,

According to sources,  Sri Lanka shall host the next South Asian Youth Summit.
