Guwahati, April 28: Skymet Weather has predicted showers for the entire stretch of Northeast India which may last for a week.
According to the latest Skymet Weather reports, the NMMT (Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura) region may also brace some good pre-Monsoon showers between April 30 and May 01, with the intensity being more in Nagaland and Manipur as compared to Mizoram and Tripura.

It may be mentioned here that, as on April 25, major rainfall deficiency is borne by the NMMT region which is 47% rain deficit. Arunachal Pradesh is with 32% rainfall deficiency. However, Assam and Meghalaya are a shade better with the rainfall almost close to normal at 14%.
Skymet Weather now expects a rainy week on cards for almost the entire stretch of Northeast India. These pre-Monsoon spells would be helpful in curtailing the rainfall deficiency.
