Manipur CM inaugurates first ADR Centre in the state

Imphal, March 31: Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh today inaugurated the first Alternative Disputes Resolution (ADR) Centre in the state at Lamphelpat in Imphal.

Supreme Court Judge Justice Ranjan Gogoi was also present at the inaugural event.

CM Singh said that the ADR Centre shall facilitate resolving civil disputes and benefit the common people of the state.

Speaking at the event, the CM highlighted various advantages of ADR Centre such as cost effectiveness, less time consuming, prevention of hostility and maintaining good relation between the parties among others.

The ADR Centre was constructed at a cost of Rs 5.50 crore.

The CM also stated that the present government is working tirelessly for inclusive growth and development in the state. He also informed that a Fast Track Special Court would be inaugurated on April 02.
