Agartala, December 29: Assam Health Education minister Himanta Biswa Sarma yesterday addressed a massive rally at Dhanpur in Siphajala district of Tripura. It must be noted that Himanta Biswa Sarma is the in Charge of Election for BJP in Tripura.
The Minister said “It’s such a shame that even in the constituency of the Chief Minister of the state, there is not even one Degree college”. “Tripura is in complete tatters and people are desperate for change” he added. He also slammed Tripura CM Manik Sarkar for making Tripura one of the poorest states in the country with more than 50% of the total population falling in Below Poverty Line. He also alleged that CM Sarkar has failed to develop his own constituency.
Himanta Biswa Sarma, addressing the gathering, said that, if the BJP comes to power in the state,the seventh pay commission shall be implemented, along with proposing a college in Dhanpur after the election results are declared.
