Book reading session held at IGNCA – NE

Guwahati, May 14: The Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) – North East Regional Centre organised a book reading cum interactive session with young author Jitendra Deka on May 10 at their regional office in Uzanbazar.

Renowned filmmaker and writer Dilip Kumar Hazarika was the Chairperson of the event.

Author of the short story anthology “The Rainbow Chaser“, Jitendra Deka, on the occasion addressed the audience and interacted with his fellow readers in topics like that included creative literature and motivation in the field of writing.

In the post reading period, the author expressed his views in the burning problems of the state and the scope of literature in tackling them.

In their humble effort, IGNCA expressed interest in organising different literary events in near future across the region.
