Assam PNRD recruitment exam | Anomalies reported from across the state

Guwahati, May 20: Recruitment examinations for 945 posts of the Panchayat and Rural Development (PNRD) department of the Government of Assam were held in various centres across the state today.

Many have claimed that they received question papers on Whatsapp groups.

Some have also claimed that they received questions via Whatsapp messages (read photo of question paper) from acquaintances who asked for answers. (Here is one such incident)

Scenario at one of the exam centres

One of the candidates, whose centre was in Guwahati itself, said that many were using cell phones inside the exam hall and the invigilators were least bothered about it.

It may be mentioned here that centres of examination were also allotted to candidates in a haphazard manner, as candidates from Sualkuchi had to come to Guwahati and candidates from Guwahati had to go to Boko to appear in the examination.

Reports have also been received of exam starting much later than the prescribed time in many centres.

Some have also claimed that questions did not have the correct answer among the four options given; they have asked if all the candidates will be given marks for such questions.

Check out another incident here where invigilators have allegedly kept mum and also helped candidates with answers.
