ASDMA organises exhibition cum competition for start-ups and innovators

Guwahati, September 23: To mark the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction, globally celebrated on October 13 every year, the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) is organizing a pre event exhibition/competition for the start-ups/ innovators/entities to provide a platform to exhibit their ideas/innovations for disaster risk reduction.

Innovations related to disaster management like localised technological solutions or strategies in communication, GPS based solutions, search and rescue operations, relief and reconstruction, locally developed life-saving objects, flood shelters, early warning systems, and hazard resilient designs/materials, indigenous innovations etc. can be submitted to ASDMA. Through this initiative, ASDMA wants to explore 360 degree mitigation solutions for disaster risk reduction.

Participation is sought from start-ups, innovators, entities and also from students/incubation centres/entrepreneurship cells/student innovation centres of Institutions.

How to Participate?

1. Participant will have to fill out the application form available at mygov.in and also www.asdma.gov.in
2. In case one applying through https://assam.mygov.in, he/she has to first register in the website.
3. Entries may also be submitted to drrinnovationsasdma@gmail.com

Last Date of Submission: October 5, 2017 (4:30 pm).
