Arunachal Pradesh becomes first in the country to launch state instance of National Scholarship Portal

Guwahati, March 30: Arunachal Pradesh has become the first state in India to launch its state instance of the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).

The initiative was launched by Arunachal Chief Minister Pema Khandu, who praised and congratulated the IT department for the same.

“Besides providing one stop solution for scholarship disbursal, it will eliminate duplication” said the CM about the initiative in a tweet.

Through this initiative, all scholarship schemes of the Arunachal Pradesh Government have come on-board the NSP and made accessible t all.

Chief Secretary of Arunachal Pradesh Satya Gopal was also present at the launch and applauded the hard work of all concerned stakeholders to achieve the milestone.

National Scholarship Portal:

National Scholarship Portal is one-stop solution through which various services starting from student application, application receipt, processing, sanction and disbursal of various scholarships to students are enabled. National Scholarship Portal is taken as Mission Mode Project under National e-Governance Plan (NeGP).
