3 plays from the Northeast in National Theatre Festival 2017

Guwahati, October 10: In another proud moment for the Northeastern region, three plays have made it to the National Theatre Festival 2017 organised by the National School of Drama (NSD), New Delhi in collaboration with the Department of Art and Culture, Government of Nagaland. Two plays are from Assam and one from Nagaland.

The festival shall start from October 10. A total of six plays shall be staged, of which three are from our region. The plays are:

  • Jina & Etiben (Nagaland)
  • Kamala Kunwarir Sadhu (Assam)
  • Madhyamvyayog (Uttar Pradesh)
  • Be-dawa (Punjab)
  • The Net (Kerala)
  • Chinnamul (Assam)
