12-hour Assam Bandh called for on April 27

Guwahati, April 26: A 12-hour Assam Bandh has been called for on April 27 by more than five organisations, that include the All Tiwa Students Union, Tiwa Yuva Chatra Parishad (TYCP), All Koch Rajbongshi Students Union among other bodies, from 5:00 am till 5:00 pm.

The bandh has been called for as a protest, as Morigaon MLA and Tiwa leader Rama Kanta Deuri was not given a ministry in the recent cabinet expansion.
