If you love Sikkim, this Nepali song is a must listen

Just another lazy day and scrolling through Facebook notifications brought me to a comment which read:

“Sabai Gadi Chadna Thalyo Kamandar Ko Horn Suni
Kalimpong To Siligudi, Bhana Timi Kasto Nisthuri
Chadera Gayo Kata Tira
Chadi Rakhyou Malai Yetai Tira
Hmmm..timi Janey Siligudi Ma Janey Sikkim Tira
Timi Janey Siligudi Ma Janey Sikkim Tira”

These lines were from one of the popular songs “Syndicate” by Bipul Chhetri. The song is a simple story of two ordinary people sharing a public space and the individual fantasy world one sometimes enjoy to be in. In the song, syndicate refers to the vehicle reservation offices which are common in the hills of Kalimpong and Darjeeling. It must be noted that the song won Hits FM Music Awards for Best Pop/Rock composition and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance in 2015.

And trust me when I say, I have listened this amazing song more than 50 times in less than 12 hours. And I couldn’t help but share it with you all.
