Assamese short film making it large globally

Guwahati, September 30: Puhor, an Assamese short film by Deuka films, have been making the state proud as the films has been garnering various global achievements. The film was selected for screening at the Southeastern International Film Festival.

The film was also among the semi finalists of Hollywood Screenings Film Festival, Hollywood, CA; Finalist at Industry Boost Competition, USA; official selection at the All Lights India International Film Festival, All Lights Film Society, Kerala; official selection at Newark International Film Festival and GSF Awards, New York. It was also an official selection at the Adda Film Festival, Guwahati.

“Life is about feelings. Puhor is a celebration of the short life we all have. I am really grateful to the cast and crew who made this happen” says Director Maharshi in a rendezvous with Team UniTreed.

Team members include: Maharshi Kashyap (Director), Bishal Sarmah (Editor), Khanjan Baruah (Sound and Background Score), Banalata Baishya, Roopchanda Sarma (Assistant Directors); Mrinmoy Talukdar, Manash Jyoti Gogoi, Harendra Nath Kalita, Sausthav K. Gautam (Cast).
