Assam | Piano Kids to celebrate 6th anniversary on April 6

Guwahati, February 21: Assam’s leading piano training organisation ‘Piano Kids‘ is going to celebrate its sixth anniversary on April 6, at the Pragjyoti ITA, Guwahati. On the occasion, a colourful musical show titled ‘Night Of The Little Pianists’, designed and directed by renowned piano maestro Kushal Krishna Devgoswami, will be presented by hundreds of trainees of the renowned piano school.

The cultural show, organised by a committee comprising mostly of guardians of the students, will commence from 6:00 pm onwards at the cultural complex, where several well-known personalities from various walks of life is expected to attend. The trainees, who have come up with some of the most stirring performances since its very inception, will perform a series of traditional and western music on the occasion.

It has to be mentioned that Piano Kids, dedicated to developing and promoting piano music in the state, has been working for the preservation of the Borgeets written by Srimanta Sankardev and Madhabdev, the tunes of Kirtan Ghosha and Naam Ghosha, in addition to Ojapali and Zikir by Ajan Faqir, which are integral to Assamese life and culture.
