An ex Cottonian and his sketches | A sketch story

A present MA (Visual Effect and Animation) student of Jamia Milia Islamia and an ex Cottonian,  Khairul Bachaar has his own way with his pen, pencil and brush. He has designed more than 45 book covers, along with around 10 book covers for the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council three of which has already been published.
He believes that people cannot survive without art. “I think it is the classic form of art which gives happiness and a feeling of completion” he says in a rendezvous with Team UniTreed. “I am inspired by the works of Sonaram Nath, Noni Borpujari, Madhusudan Das, Voka and Pablo Picasso among others” he adds. Presently, he is also learning VFX, Motion Graphics and Film Making.

PS. He is also an art director.

Here are a few samples of his work.

Let’s start with this amazing self profile sketch.

How about a self portrait?

We all are fans of Minimalism, are we not?

Dreams and Consequences

The Optionless

He seems to like people move forward, maybe he wants everyone to move forward in life and feel the happiness from that. Here is a rough sketch depicting the same.

Correct me if I am wrong but his rough sketches has more to offer than planned sketches of  many. These three sketches bear witness to the fact.
