Monjul Baruah thanks the producers of the film Dr Gopendra Mohan Das and Dr Jahanara Begum for approaching him for the amazing film. “I also thank Dr Rita Choudhury for her permission. When asked about the film, he said “It is one such film which the general public will love to watch. Every character in the film has an important role. I always prefer to create observational cinema utilising formal device and equipments. I lay more emphasis on naturalism and always want to work with professional actors in a real environment. I feel proud to work with KAANEEN and would like to thank my cast and crew members specially Dr Jahanara Begum, who plays the role of the protagonist. She has acted extremely well.”
He expects people to come out, and watch and accept his film.
The film has been shot at Tezpur and Guwahati.
Team UniTreed wishes the team of KAANEEN all the success.
