Guwahati, September 02: Film maker of Bahniman fame, Biswajit Bora, is on his way to release his second Assamese film “Phehujali – Early Dawn”. Bora, who has already worked in some famous Hindi films like “Aisha Ye Jahan” earned fame after his first Assamese movie Bahniman, which made a revolutionary record in the Assamese Film Industry (Jollywood). While the whole the world is following new trends in film making, nobdy can deny that Bora is introducing some game changing ideas and stories in Jollywood. It’s a great news for film lovers that talents like Biswajit is back to Assam with his unique concept and superb professionalism.
The film Phehujali is based on the challenges that old men face, along with their families. The cast includes artists of Assamese Mobile Theatre like Suren Mahanta, Moni Borah and Baharul Islam among others. Two Child artists Rodali Bora and Tridip Saikia have also showed their excellent performances in this film. Cinematographer of the film is Titu Jena, who has worked for films like Ramaiya Vastavaiya and many ads. The shooting of the film started on June 21 just after the day of its Muhurat and the team successfully ended its shooting at various locations of Assam. The dubbing of this film started from August 08 and the director is planning to get the censor certificate at Jyoti Chitraban just after the completion of its dubbing. According to Bora, probable release date of the film is February 09, 2018.
He informed Team UniTreed that around 50% of the total investment has already been revived from various sources. After Phehujali, his next film will be Raktabeez which will be produced by famous Bollywood producer Rabindra Rajawat.
